4th International Yoga day of 2018 was celebrated at our Rajarambapu College of Pharmacy on 21st June 2018.

The 4th International Yoga day of 2018 was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at our Rajarambapu College of Pharmacy on 21st June 2018. The celebrations at the college were inaugurated by Hon’ble Principal Dr. C. S. Magdum and Vice Principal Dr. S. K. Mohite. Principal talked about the importance of Yoga and how it is important for the holistic growth. The need of doing yoga everyday was also reiterated by him. The Yog pandit were introduced by Ms. Indrayani Raut, NSS Co-ordinator. The sequence and right procedure of performing yoga was guided by Yoga Pandit Mr. Vinayak Jagtap and Mr. Khot from Yog Vidya Dham, Islampur. Different yoga postures like Vrikshasana, Uttaanaasana, Trikonaasana, Bhadrasana, Bhujangasana, Pawana Muktaasana and shawasana were performed, it finally ended with Pranayama and meditation. Prayers were recited before and after the programme. NSS Co-ordinator Ms. Indrayani Raut offered vote of thanks and expressed her gratitude on behalf of everybody. Many students and all the faculty members were participated in it. It was a fruitful and a satisfying day. Everyone went with the hope of practicing yoga on everyday basis.

REPORT OF CAMPUS INTERVIEW OF RASINO HERBS PVT. LTD., MIDC KUPWAD, SANGLI

Rajarambapu College of Pharmacy, Kasegaon, Training and Placement Cell had organized pool campus interview of Rasino Herbs Pvt. Ltd., MIDC Kupwad, Sangli for B. Pharm passed out students on 18th July 2017 at College. The inaugural function was graced by the presence of Dr. Chandrakant S. Magdum Principal, Dr. Shrinivas K. Mohite, Vice Principal, Team of Rasino Herbs Pvt. Ltd., MIDC Kupwad and Dr. Manoj M. Nitalikar, Training and Placement Officer. In this Campus Interview nearly 17 students were enrolled for interview. In Final round 03 students were selected. Selected students will be placed in company shortly. The Campus interview was conducted by Mr. Paresh Doshi, Director, Mr Krishna Mali, Mr Dilip Gajgaji and Ms. Deepika Gajgaji. Campus Interview was co-ordinated by Dr. Manoj Nitalikar (Training and Placement Officer) as Chief Coordinator, Mr. Pramod patil, Mr. Pankaj Kore, and all the teaching staff members.

National Seminar sponsored by ICMR, NEW DELHI

Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi sponsored Two days National level seminar on “Pharmacovigilance and Herbal Therapeutics” was organized on 26th and 27th Aug. 2016. The seminar was inaugurated at the auspicious hands of Prof. Dr. Rajendra Kurlapkar, Joint Secretary, Kasegaon Education Society, Kasegaon. Other dignitaries present were Prof. Dr. A. V. Yadav, Principal, Gourishankar College of Pharmacy, Limb, Satara, Prof. Dr. C. S. Magdum, Principal of the host college, Prof. Dr. S. K. Mohite., Vice-Principal of the host college and Programme co-ordinator Dr. V. R. Salunkhe. Dr. Kurlapkar congratulated the college for organizing seminar and appealed all the delegates to participate wholeheartedly. Dr. C. S. Magdum welcomed all the delegates and emphasized on discovering the potential of herbal drugs as a remedy for the existing diseases and wherever the existing drugs failed to produce the desired effects. Shri. D. S. Gumate proposed vote of thanks. Number of faculty members and students from various colleges affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur and other universities attended the inaugural function. Nearly thirty five faculty members from various colleges were for the programme. About 808 participants were registered for the seminar.

Rajarambapu College of Pharmacy, Kasegaon organized N.S.S. Camp

Rajarambapu College of Pharmacy, Kasegaon organized N.S.S. Camp in a small village Wategaon during 20th January to 26th January 2016. The theme of the camp was “Digital India” in which Digital Village activities were conducted at Wategaon.

The camp was inaugurated on 20th January 2016 with the hands of Dr. S. R. Pawar, Principal, Arts and Commerce College Kasegaon. In the inaugural address he congratulated the host college for organizing the camp and also he appealed the students to participate wholeheartedly. Dr. C. S. Magdum, Principal of the host college welcomed all the dignitaries and expressed deep gratitude to the villagers of Wategaon for getting involved in various activities. Other dignitaries attended the activity were Shri. Prakashrao Patil, Shri Pramod Sathe, Dr. V. R. Salunkhe, Shri S. R. Kane, Shri P.S. Kore. Vote of thanks were expressed by programme coordinator Smt I.D. Raut. About 100 students and villagers attended the inaugural function. On next day a special session on “Road Safety” was conducted by Shri Shinde Police Inspector, Police Station, Kasegaon., which was presided over by Dr. S.K. Mohite, Vice Principal. During the camp, volunteer students collected the copies of the documents like Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, Voter ID, Bank Passbook from the villagers and were scanned the copy was submitted to Gram Panchayat. Guest Lecture sessions were organized during the camp, wherein Dr. Mrs. Vasundhara Ghorpade spoke on “Health of Women” and Prof. Khandekar explained on “Guidance for Competitive Examination”. Nice arrangement for residence of students was made by Wategaon villagers.

The valedictory function was conducted on 26th January 2016. The villagers expressed deep gratitude towards the college and students for conducting the activities. Faculty members Shri S. R. Kane, Smt. I. D. Raut and Shri. P.S. Kore organized well for making the camp as a memorable one.

राजारामबापू कॉलेज ऑफ फार्मसी, कासेगांव या महाविद्यालयामध्ये मॅक्लॉईड फार्मास्युटीकल लिमिटेड या आंतरराष्ट्रीय कंपनीच्या वतीने दिनांक २८/०९/२०१५ रोजी कॅम्पस इंटरव्हू आयोजित करण्यात आले होते सदर इंटरव्हूसाठी एम. फार्मसी हा अभ्यासक्रम पूर्ण केलेले विद्यार्थी पात्र होते. इंटरव्हू घेणेसाठी कंपनीचे वरिश्ठ पदाधिका-यामंध्ये क्लॉलिटी कंट्रोल विभागप्रमुख डॉ. उमेष मनियार व हयुमन रिसोर्सेसचे सिनियर एक्झीक्युटीव्ह श्री. भव्य देसाई यांचा समावेष होता. सदर इंटरव्हूसाठी, सांगली, सातारा, कोल्हापूर सोलापूर अहमदनगर, पुणे व बेळगांव जिल्हयातील एकूण ५५ विद्यार्थी उपस्थित होते. इंटरव्हूची सुरूवात करण्यापूर्वी महाविद्यालयाच्या वतीने प्राचार्य डॉ. सी. एस. मगदूम व उपप्राचार्य डॉ. एस. के. मोहिते यांच्या हस्ते कंपनीच्या अधिका-यांचे स्वागत व सत्कार करण्यात आला. कॅम्पस इंटरव्हूचे आयोजन महाविद्यालयाचे ट्रेनिंग व प्लेसमेंट ऑफिसर डॉ. एम. एम. नितळीकर यांनी केले. या इंटरव्हूमध्ये प्रथम विद्यार्थ्यांची लेखी परिक्षा घेण्यात आली. त्यामध्ये निवड झालेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मुलाखती घेण्यात आल्या. या मुलाखतीमध्ये एकूण ०८ विद्यार्थ्यांची निवड झाली. त्यामध्ये राजारामबापू कॉलेज ऑफ फार्मसी, कासेगांव या महाविद्यालयातील कु. गीतांजली खांबे व विषाल निकम यांची निवड झाली. सदर कार्यक्रमाच्या यषस्वीतेसाठी प्रा. जमीर तांबोळी, प्रा. संदीप काणे, प्रा. राहूल आडनाईक, प्रा. इंद्रायणी राऊत, प्रा. प्रियांका पाटील आदी कर्मचा-यांचे परिश्रम घेतले.
